So I called in sick today.....

I decided I needed a 'mental health' day, away from all the pressures of the auto biz, the fire biz, and all the home remodeling going on in preparation for a graduation party next month. I figured lunch in Caseville might just be what the doctor ordered. I tossed a map in my tankbag and I was ready to hit the road.

I made my way down I69 to Capac, and worked my way over to the lake to pick up M25. Cruising up M25, nature called, so I pulled in a roadside scenic lookout and met a retired GM guy who had the same idea as I did, but on this:
I went about my business and tried not to disturb his quiet too much, and we chatted a bit before he left. You can see how I found him when I pulled in, there in the background.

Beautiful for being 'sick!'
I did attempt one of those self-timer shots on the tail-bag, but I think I'm leaning north a bit. Oh well, another thing to perfect.

Took the coast of the thumb to Port Austin, but I just wasn't feelin' the pics with the camera, so I decided lunch was on top of my agenda.

This was my lunch destination in Caseville, just asked the waitress to bring me whatever was good. I ended up getting the foot-long platter, which was alright, about what I figured it would be. Service was fast and pleasant.
At this point I had to seriously think about heading home, I can't shirk my duties forever. Ahh, back to the grind tomorrow. I feel much better.
